교수님 소개

이강택 교수님은 University of Minnesota에서 콜로이드 반응공학을 전공으로 1997년 박사학위를 받으셨다. 논문제목은 "세라믹 콜로이드의 반응공학(Reaction engineering of ceramic colloids)"이다. 박사학위후 1997년에서 1998년까지 Pennsylvania State University 화공생명공학과에서 Postdoctoral scholar로 재직하시면서 콜로이드 시스템의 새로운 몬테칼로 모사에 대한 연구를 수행하셨다. 그후 University of Pittsburgh에서 2000년까지 research associate로 재직하시면서 광결정을 이용한 화학적/생물학적 센서에 대한 연구를 수행하셨다. 현재 이강택 교수님은 molecular design of the new materials, the tailored synthesis of submicron-sized colloids, photonic crystals, and the mathematical modeling of dispersed systems에 대한 연구를 진행중이시다. 아울러 진행된 연구결과의 생물학 및 의학적 응용을 위해 금 입자를 이용하는 특정 sequence를 가지는 DNA의 검출법에 관한 연구 및 생체 내에서의 은 나노입자의 독성 연구가 진행되고 있다.
